What have we been upto?

Salut!

Hope everyone has been enjoying the nice weather!

FRACTIONS: We have been very busy in our classroom. We are currently working on simplifying fractions, as well as equivalent fractions.
Here are some websites that you can use to practice:
http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/mathgames/fractions/memory_equivalent1.htm

LE GOUVERNEMENT DU CANADA: In Social Studies we are learning all about the Government of Canada (5), as well as Canada in relation to the world (importation and exportations, 6). You must review your Social Studies folder on a regular basis, even when they do not have homework.

LANGUAGE: We are learning all about human rights. Students are learning how to successfully respond to comprehension questions using question wording. They are exploring what Lever 4 responses look like.

READING BUDDIES: Every day 4 students  have been working with Ms.Hill's grade 1/2 class and it has been very beneficial for both grades. Students are exploring their roles as leaders and role-models and they are taking it extremely seriously. I am so proud of what they have been accomplishing.

As the final stretch approaches we are going to continue to work just as hard, and your support is still needed.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns,

Mlle. Ibrahim
