Bonjour!

I know it has been a while. It's an extremely busy time of year and we've been doing a lot of work.

I wanted to update you on a few things that we have been working on in our classroom.

In Language we have been learning about Narrative writing. Students will be developing their own narrative stories towards the end of November.
We have also been reading a book by J.L. Witterick called "My mother's secret". It is a GREAT book, and we are all really into it. It's about events that occurred during the Holocaust, so we are learning a lot about World War II.

We will also be starting a weekly spelling test in Language. I am attaching a link to the list. I have also attached the list in the students' agenda. Their first spelling test will be on the first 10 words on Nov. 7th. http://www.supereasystorytelling.com/docs/SuperEasyStorytellingAdjectives.pdf

Scarecrow: This week we are also building a scarecrow for Halloween! If you have any supplies to help us make our scarecrow, please bring them in.
Things you can bring in:
                            - pillowcases
                            - pantyhose
                            - buttons
                            - tights
                            - shredded paper
                            - old clothing

As always if you have any questions, you know where to find me. :)

Lesson 2 - Relationship Rules for Patterns
