C'est mercredi le 7 mai 2014.

Salut tout le monde!

Students are going to be having a French test tomorrow on "ir" verbs. Here are some websites that can help you study for tomorrow's test.

Mlle.Barker has started "re" verbs with students and will be continuing this over the next couple of weeks. Thus, so far students have learned "er", "ir" and now "re" verbs.

Math: Students received their Addition and Subtraction tests today, I apologize for the delay. Please ensure that they are signed and returned to school tomorrow. We will also be having a Geometry Test next Friday, May 16th.

Language: Students are working on creating persuasive paragraphs on a topic that they have chosen, for instance: Why should you help the homeless? Why should own a pet?...

May 9th: Students will be going to BMO field for a Toronto FC open practice or Medieval times! Both trips should be great!!

Thank you,

Mlle.Ibrahim

Bonjour!!

This week is a rather eventful week. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Mlle.Barker who will be a student teacher in our classroom for the month of May. It is our pleasure to have her in our class :)

Yesterday we went to Downtown to the National School of Ballet, and watched a GREAT performance! Thank you for the incredible parent volunteers that came with us. We appreciate you taking the time out of your schedules.

On Friday, some students will be going to Medieval times and others will be going to an open Toronto FC practice.

In French, we have been reviewing "IR" verbs and students will be having a test on it on Thursday May 8th. They will also be performing their dance presentation on Thursday too.

In Math, we are temporarily leaving Multiplication and Division, and are working on 2D Geometry. We will be revisiting Multiplication and Division towards the end of June.

Merci beaucoup!
Mlle.Ibrahim

"I was shocked when I actually saw a real hawk" - Jadiha

"My trip to Downsview park was fantastic!!! The best part was in the morning when we played games. They were good activities to learn about co-operation and they were really fun." -Sarah

"We had an amazing time at Downsview Park... We found out that Downsview Park used to be a military park where they made planes. Downsview Park is an amazing place for trips, a family or someone looking for the best nature experience of their lives." - Kathryn
